What we collect

Holiday Brief is a static site. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name or email to read any brief.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to count page views. GA4 records anonymized IP addresses and a hashed device identifier. We do not use Google signals, do not link to other Google products, and do not build advertising audiences.

What we do not collect

Email addresses (unless you email us first).
Precise location (the site is text-only; no map APIs run by default).
Cookies set by us (the analytics cookie is set by Google, not by us).
Payment data (we do not sell anything in V1).

How long we keep data

GA4 data is retained for 14 months, the default. We do not export or back up the analytics data. If you want a copy of the analytics data that includes your visit, write to contact@holidaybrief.org; we will pull the record from GA4.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any data we hold about you. We hold very little. Write to the address above and we will respond within 30 days.
